Need to balance between input & output of information

There is a need to balance the input and output of information.

If you have more inputs:

Then, the next step is to take note of essential things. You will need to filter out non-essential items. Feed your thoughts with only good things for long-term benefit as a writer and tinkerer.

Be a good steward of your gifts. Protect your time. Feed your inner life. Avoid too much noise. Read good books, have good sentences in your ears. Be by yourself as often as you can. Walk. Take the phone off the hook. Work regular hours. - JANE KENYON

Think about/summarize/paraphrase that idea after that.

Give your own thoughts to the idea, not just copy-paste it. Take the idea and make it your own. Connect with different ideas and look for patterns. Any time you want to focus on a particular idea, you can zoom in and zoom out to see the overall picture.

To do that, you need time and space. You should have a block of time to work and play with the ideas and a place with a medium to big space like a park or a lake where you can talk about your ideas with nature and interact with them.

There’s no rush. No one is waiting for this thing you’re working on, so relax. Enjoy the process, take risks, let yourself write things you’ll delete later, play, write yourself into places of discovery, ask questions a lot in this process.

The last step is either you end with your own draft or put your improvised thought in public. What you can do are ;

Then, there will be a balance between input & output.

If the output is too much, you will run out of ideas.
